This Safari Travelogue on June 27th presented by world traveler John Dranchak will reward you with an “African Adventure” on a scale that would even impress Martin + Osa Johnson! Travelogues are always FREE, but seating can be limited. Doors OPEN on the 2nd floor of the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum at 6:45pm with the program to begin no later than 7pm. The museum is going back to our titular heroes’ roots w/a stunning photo journey through Africa presented by John Dranchak. John is a world traveler having visited over 100 countries and all 7 continents. He is a member of the Travelers Century Club and has many other interests including gardening, beekeeping, photography and reading history books. John is a career aerospace engineer, working in the development of NASA spacecraft, most recently on the Orion program in Denver. After retiring last year, he moved to Kansas and resides in Parsons.

John will present photos from two different trips to Eastern and Southern Africa in the Fall of 2018 and Spring of 2019. Included are scenes from the Ngorongoro crater world heritage site and Zanzibar island in Tanzania and the South Laungwa National Park in Zambia. Additional photos are shown of Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe plus Victoria Falls and Capetown South Africa.
