Secure Ordering

The Safari Museum uses the shopping cart services of Americart, one of the Internet's premier shopping cart service providers...When you place an order with us, the secure server at Americart will encrypt all the information you enter using SSL security technology.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer technology) encrypts your order information to avoid the decoding of that information by anyone other than the Safari Museum...To check the security of your connection, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window after accessing the server...If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active...You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser...When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."..It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your credit card information, to your password and to your computer.

Some versions of browsers and some firewalls don't permit communication through secure servers...While some organizations have the option of using a non-secure server, we have chosen not to...If you cannot access the secure server for whatever reason, please place your order by phone at 1-620-431-2730, Monday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (CST).

Privacy Policies

We are committed to protecting your privacy...We use the information you provide during the checkout process to process your orders and email your order confirmation...The Safari Museum does not store any of your personal information on our site and we do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information to other parties.

Our servers, and Americart's, do not reuse any of the information you enter...This means that each time you place an order, you will be asked to enter your credit card and shipping information.
